FAFSA Night Thursday Oct. 14th, 2021

Parents and Seniors,
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid has opened for the 2022-2023 school year. This form determines eligibility for financial aid through the Federal government for college expenses.
We will be hosting a FAFSA Night on October 14th, from 5-8pm in the Media Center. This Open House is a great opportunity to have help while applying for FAFSA. Stop in to ask a question, or to start or finish your FAFSA.  If you plan on attending, please be sure to have created an FSA ID for both you and your student, and bring any other necessary materials (SSN, 2020 Tax Documents, etc).

To create an FSA ID, go to studentaid.gov and create an account. You will need your Social Security Number, Full Name and Birth Date. Both you and your student will need to create an FSA ID to ensure that your application process is as simple as possible. Be sure to make note of your FSA ID user login information, as you will be using this for your FAFSA application.

If you have already completed the FAFSA and have any questions regarding FAFSA, or any other college related questions, please email Ms. Genna, our new College Access Advisor, at lauren.genna@utah.edu.

The following representatives from Utah Higher Ed Institutions will be available during the FAFSA Open House to assist students:
  • Jonathan Leon (U of U financial aid)
  • Adilene Munoz (Utah College Advising Corps)
  • Shawn Hancock (BYU financial aid)
