Tech Centers
In order to be enrolled in a JATC program, you must be registered at a Jordan School District affiliated high school as per Jordan School District Policy AA447.
The JATC has two sessions per day:
Morning Session: 7:40 A.M to 10:00 A.M. Monday -Thursday
Afternoon Session: 11:30 A.M. to 1:45 P.M. Monday -Thursday
JATC District-wide Friday “Late Start” times:
Morning Session: 8:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M
Afternoon Session: 11:45 A.M. to 1:45 P.M.
Busing is available to and from the JATC North and South Campuses. Bus #1017
The Copper Hills Bus Departs: 7:05 A.M. by cafeteria doors or 10:50 A.M. in front of the school
The Copper Hills Bus Arrives: 10:40 A.M. in front of the school or 2 P.M. by cafeteria doors
JATC classes are held for 2 class periods a day, therefore, you will need to block out 2-4 periods of your 8-period schedule, depending on if the program meets every day or every other day.
Please make sure you have the time necessary to enroll in a JATC program by checking your graduation status with your high school counselor. Concurrent enrollment is available for most programs but is subject to change based on college and department stipulations.
Application Process:
1. Only students who will be juniors and seniors may apply for classes at the JATC.
2. Follow the application instructions posted on the JATC website at https://www.jordantech.org
3. The JATC staff will process your application, your transcript, and attendance records to make a determination regarding acceptance. All students will be notified by mail regarding their status approximately 30 days after you submit your application.
