Serving on the School Community Council:
Copper Hills High School is re-establishing their School Community Council and per Utah code (Utah Code: 53G-7-1202 School community councils) Copper Hills High will have six (6) open parent seats. Any parent of a current Copper Hills High student, or a parent of a student who will be enrolled at the school during the parent’s term of office, who wants to serve on the School Community Council needs to complete the attached School Community Council Candidate Form and return it to Mr. Sterling Hunt (School Administrator) in the CHHS Main Office or by email to sterling.hunt@jordandistrict.
Please note, If there are more than six parent applications submitted for the six open parents seats, an election will be held (by secret ballot) starting Sept. 20th at 7:30 am. Ballots will be located in the Main Office of CHHS and will be available for parents of current CHHS students through Sept. 28th at 7:30 pm.
Elected School Community Council Parents, along with the school community, will be notified of the results of the election on Oct. 4th.
The first School Community Council meeting for 2023-2024 school year will be held on Oct. 11, 2023 at 6 pm in the CHHS Media Center.

Copper Hills High School está restableciendo su Consejo Comunitario Escolar y según el código de Utah (Código de Utah: 53G-7-1202 Consejos comunitarios escolares). Copper Hills High tendrá seis (6) asientos abiertos para padres. Cualquier padre de un estudiante actual de Copper Hills High, o padre de un estudiante que estará inscrito en la escuela durante el mandato del padre, que quiera formar parte del Consejo Comunitario Escolar debe completar el Formulario de Candidato al Consejo Comunitario Escolar adjunto y devuélvalo al Sr. Sterling Hunt (Administrador escolar) en la oficina principal de CHHS o por correo electrónico a Sterling.hunt@jordandistrict.
Tenga en cuenta que si se presentan más de seis solicitudes de padres para los seis puestos abiertos para padres, se llevará a cabo una elección (mediante votación secreta) a partir del 20 de septiembre a las 7:30 am. Las boletas estarán ubicadas en la oficina principal de CHHS y estarán disponibles para los padres de los estudiantes actuales de CHHS hasta el 28 de septiembre a las 7:30 pm.
Consejo Comunitario Escolar Electo Los padres, junto con la comunidad escolar, serán notificados de los resultados de la elección el 4 de octubre.
La primera reunión del Consejo Comunitario Escolar para el año escolar 2023-2024 se llevará a cabo el 11 de octubre de 2023 a las 6 pm en el Centro de Medios de CHHS.
