CHHS School Community Council Information

In accordance with state law, Copper Hills High will have an election to fill three (3) open parent seats.  Any parent of a current Copper Hills High student, or a parent of a student who will be enrolled at the school during the parent’s term of office, who wants to serve on the School Community Council needs to complete the attached School Community Council Candidate Form and return it to Mr. Sterling Hunt (School Administrator) in the CHHS Main Office or by email to sterling.hunt@jordandistrict.org by 3 pm on Wednesday, September 25th.

Please note, If there are more than three (3) parent applications submitted for the three open parent seats, an election will be held (by secret ballot) starting Sept. 26th at 7:00 am.  Ballots will be located in the Main Office of CHHS and will be available for parents of current CHHS students through Oct. 3rd at 2:45 pm.  

Elected School Community Council Parents, along with the school community, will be notified of the results of the election on Oct. 4th.

The first School Community Council meeting for the 2024-2025 school year will be held on Oct. 9th, 2024 at 6 pm in the CHHS Alumni Room.
