actual part of the test booklet that you have in your hand page 277 to 279 tell you what types of passages K on page 196 and 197 it goes into specifics and this is basically all it says play Then There are three types of passages data representation is just huge words for saying you're going to look at some data okay it's on page 279 and there is some example questions in your book that are 280 through 284 play the answers to those questions are page 293 see how that goes okay we're going to talk more specifically about each one of these times the second type is research summaries so they give you huge mounting the read and then asked you 5 or 6 to 10 questions on them all right wizard in mind you have the summaries they study for some example questions 285-4288 and then on page 293 again the answers the last piece is the conflicting viewpoints so conflicting viewpoints means that one. is this the one that it says that I am between the two what are they talking about so is so I want you to go to page 280 and 81 in your book if you don't have one try to look with somebody is there a huge right survey to 881 questions one through five ready personal wear when should it be don't spend your time looking at all five different things are showing you it's going to bog you down you have approximately one minute to answer each one of these questions if you don't understand within that minute you need to go on you can always come back and then you can say okay your mind actually things about it and see side of you thinking about other problems you're actually more go to figure gold go to wherever it is and then look up what is it you're looking for the scientific term meters kilometers kilograms anything like that temperature Kelvin new necessity again Newton that's physics time what is your most important second locator well that's your units find that hey next you might have some science terminology OKC answer your big words right th temperature bath detector detectors little things that grab the steps right deposit that is different from the directions of the question doesn't your directions is telling you okay these are temperature Zion T things look at your number Behavior what's happening is it getting bigger is it getting smaller you see one going bigger and smaller opposite each other so you might have all kinds of different graphs and trends thanks I'm it's not the actual numbers but the trends if you want to look at so am I say 246 They Don't Really Care that it's real data they want you to see it can you find the trend can you find out where it's going k the next thing find the table find the unity the trend of the two comparisons right on there so let's say you have a graph and it's stuff turn point and it's saying so what's happening continue that grass right on your booklet write it off of that graph into another space if they want you to cross the two lines do it find your thing hey drawing and make it stick to each other process make sure you know where those lines are actually going if you have two pencils you can use one pencils the line and draw it on there right could you have number Behavior Trends as one gets bigger as one gets smaller one increases as the other decreases k so that would be your Trend so let them those five questions you see trends they go back to those five questions you seed grass with some friends I know you can't draw and write in these books but make a copy of that picture or something draw over the top of it with a piece of paper or something so you can see it right section 4 all right I want you to turn to page 86 86 I know this book has small over the road here okay 886 is a sample test but there is a group of questions I just kind of want you to look at some calculate pi is 3.14 cuz I only need two decimal places are good with that right play The Scientist calculate pi is approximately 3 why well that's what you're going to do then you will not have the calculator to use on this except whatever it is so when you do that you're going to say okay it's approximately 5 times bigger so let's say you took this daddy says they're 16 things okay eating is worth 3.15 how many pieces does it have you're going to look it up 16 3.150 is approximately three more pieces to it okay see how it works give me the estimate that it's a process of what is it so don't worry about the extra number don't save you a ton of time to get it pants lbs scientists don't be a mathematician bear engineer on here just be approximate do what it ask you it's going to give you four or five choices right whichever one is that approximation do it now if you have it down to two choices you can nightly wriggle something in right what I would do is on your booklet Circle those two twice as I come back to it and see which one does your gut feeling tell you go with it don't change your gut feeling it was my mistake on those so the test makers want you to round estimate an approximate without your calculator they wanted you to be quick as fast as you can possibly just keep going hey if you got it good if you don't and you don't get it and it's not working next question okay practice that that's the hardest thing I know all of us were like we're supposed to keep working until we get it not on here okay you know it's just at the edge of your brain do I can almost get it let me work some more don't do it okay you're bringing them keep working on it you're stressed enough as it is somebody's got to keep you from getting it so what you need to do is go on and come back and your brain probably will have it by then okay let yourself do that tell yourself it's a minute all right extrapolation in estimation how do you say let's go to page 90 and 91 sample questions can you see some of those graphs on there that you might have to make lines longer Armine tents to buy text that is we have this graph here's the end of the grass here's the end of the graph years in our minds has stopped what you need to do is say go keep going on that grass hit making it longer keep that line going okay you might have to draw in it as they said again make it extended outside that grass okay actually driving outside the box is on the graph do you know where the lions are going right in your question booklet but not on their check teletech K2 again finders locators in trans and then answer the questions what to see my dad has in common okay and then there is a bridge a bridge means that the two dad is seeing whatever they are clear ground for a table or whatever they something in common so maybe one is measuring mass over time and where maybe is velocity over time what's the bridge was going to be time to make sense so you going to have something in there
